A safety group for a heating system - is a set of protective elements that controls the pressure to prevent accidents, removes air from the system so that air locks do not form to prevent the boiler from overheating.
Most often, the safety group consists of three main elements:
- Safety valve
Responsible for protecting the system from excessive pressure. If the pressure exceeds the permissible value, the valve automatically opens and releases part of the coolant, preventing damage to the boiler, radiators or pipes.
Attention! The kit includes a 3 bar safety valve. Check the required operating pressure for your equipment in the device instructions.
- Automatic air vent
Removes air that accumulates in the heating system. This improves the circulation of the coolant, reduces noise in the pipes and increases heating efficiency.
- Pressure gauge
Allows you to monitor the operating pressure in the system. According to the pressure gauge readings, the user can notice a drop or increase in pressure in time and react before problems arise.
The safety group is installed on the boiler or on the supply line next to the boiler, to all other components and elements of the system and is a mandatory element for the safe operation of solid fuel heating systems.
