Description
KHORS MP1 solid fuel boilers are available in 10, 12, 14, and 16 kW capacities for heating residential buildings, administrative and utility buildings, and for cooking.
They operate in heating systems with natural and forced water circulation, in open and closed systems with operating pressures up to 0.2 MPa. One load of wood provides 4 to 7 hours of heating (depending on the fuel, heating system, and outside temperature). The boilers burn coal, firewood (the best hardwood), and wood waste. Wood and peat briquettes, cardboard, wood chips, and pellets are also suitable.
KHORS MP1 are universal boilers with a combined two-pass heat exchanger, meaning that hot gases flow around shelves and pipes filled with water on their way to the chimney.
To maintain the heating medium temperature, a connection point for a mechanical draft regulator is provided. It is mounted on the right wall of the boiler and controls the gravity damper via a chain, opening and closing it. Air (oxygen) flows under the cast-iron grate, into the ash pan, and then into the combustion chamber.
To prevent freezing of the system, an outlet is provided under the heating element as a backup power source.
